Know what's wrong with it
before you call anyone.
Photograph the data plate on the machine that's stopped working. HomeLogix identifies the exact model, tells you what's wrong — free, every time — and shows you how to fix it. When it's a job you shouldn't do yourself, it says so and introduces you to a vetted local technician.
iPhone, iOS 16 and later. Technician booking is live across Maricopa County and expanding one metro at a time.
Three bad options, and a fourth
When an appliance fails you can guess, watch a video made for a different model, or pay $95 for someone to tell you it was a $12 part. Meanwhile most appliances fail early because routine maintenance nobody tracks never gets done.
Point the camera at the plate
Text recognition runs on the phone — nothing is uploaded to identify your machine. You confirm the model before anything else happens.
Get a real diagnosis, free
A few questions about what it's doing, then a named fault with the reasoning, the sources behind it, and how confident we are. No account, no ad, no payment.
Fix it, or don't
Green jobs get numbered steps and a parts list. Red jobs — sealed refrigerant, gas valves, breaker panels — get a technician instead of a procedure, because some repairs aren't worth your hands.
What makes it different
Every step is sourced
Guides are written from retrieved manufacturer documentation and repair references, never from memory. A second pass strips any step the sources don't support, and each guide shows its confidence tier openly.
Nothing is invented
If we don't know your model's service interval, we say it's typical for the category and will be corrected. An unrecognised item gets no schedule at all. We'd rather say "we don't know" than make something up about a machine in your house.
The schedule builds itself
Register what you own once. Condenser coils, dryer vents, HVAC filters, mower oil — each is tracked against its interval and you get a reminder before it's due, not after something fails.
One technician, not five
A request goes to a single local company with the model and likely fault already attached. They're checked for current insurance — and a state licence in the trades that require one — before they're listed, and they're never sorted by what they pay us.
Ready when it breaks
Already know you need someone out? Send us the details and we'll match you with a company that services your area — with the model number and the symptom in hand, so their tech turns up knowing what part to bring.
